This month, over 360,000 kids are turning 16. While they're looking forward to the freedom that comes with their first drivers license, their parents are most likely experiencing more than a little stress at the idea. Fortunately, Chevrolet is offer customers three months of free OnStar Family Link throughout August.
OnStar Family Link allows parents to remain connected to their teen driver by providing access to the teen's vehicle location. Parents are also able to set up email or text alerts that will notify them when a vehicle has either arrived at or departed from a destination, or when the vehicle has left a specified area.
Chevrolet owners of model 2012 or newer vehicles that have an active OnStar subscription can sign up for the three months of free OnStar Family Link by visiting OnStar.com. After the initial trial, parents can continue the service for $3.99 a month (plus tax).
Our showroom at 27992 Governor G.C. Peery Highway in North Tazewell serves drivers from the North Tazewell, Princeton, WV, Abingdon, Wytheville and Lebanon areas.
