After the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox debuted in September, we’ve had to wait a while before automotive reviewers have gotten their hands on it to let us know how it drives. Although its currently only offered in dealerships with one engine—the impressive, new 1.5-liter inline-four—two more will debut soon. And even with one mill available, reviewers still have a lot of great things to say.

The Equinox is a bit smaller and 400 lbs. lighter, but it still comes with some pretty competitive features. While the turbo engine under the hood makes 170 hp and 203 lb-ft of twist, the turbocharger helps get the CUV going faster than competing models thanks to peak torque being available lower in the rev range. On the inside, the 63.5 cubic-feet of cargo room is quite competitive, and with features like 4G LTE WiFi, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Chevrolet MyLink, it has undeniable value.

We’d love to introduce you to the new Equinox right here at our Chevrolet dealership in Tazewell, VA. Contact our showroom by phone, email, or text, and we’ll get the ball rolling.
